Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We see Jesus giving the best of Himself to everyone. He did not come just for a few but for all. He longs to see us healed and restored to our dignity as sons and daughters of God.

The Gospels tell us that everyone was looking for Him. The same is true today for our world. We seek and long to be fulfilled in this life. We desire to be happy and have meaning. We feel a need and only He can truly satisfy it.

Jesus has come into our lives without us deserving Him and has freely given us His love. He has prayed for us to the Father so that we might be saved and He has given His life in order to gain our salvation. He has done all that He can do in order to bring us to the end that was prepared for us since the beginning. He has loved us to the extreme.

Now, it is up to us. Now we are to respond to His love. Now we are called to share His love with others and grow in His grace. He will not force us to love Him back. He suffers our rejection. But, He will never stop loving us to the end.

Let’s never stop loving Him!

Sincerely in Christ, Fr. Thomas Bennett
